Well, it is safe to say that the Sydney Harbor will always have a very special place in my heart. When Ron told me that his step brother Pete would be taking us out on a boat with the family for a day on the harbor, I could only laugh and think, “how could you possibly make the experience any better?”
Well…. He did. Pete, Treena, Ron and I had a blast with their children and Treena’s brothers’ wife and children.
Hamish, Stella, Gorgie, and Charlie
We spent the whole day laughing, swimming, jumping on and off the boat and of course eating and drinking.
I even taught these Aussie kids how to play Down by the Banks of the Hanky Panky. (Please don’t make me sing the whole song again…. I sang it over a million times. I think this easy impromptu hand clapping game is now Stella and Charlie’s favorite)
Ron even brought along my new favorite Champaign. (The drink we toasted with after I said yes!)
It was a beautiful day on the harbor and a bunch of fun. Best part…. I didn’t even get sunburned. I know, miracle…. Right?
